Times are a guide from the published kick-off — always allow extra for engineering works and matchday road closures.

Getting there
- Falmer station — Right next to the ground; direct trains from Brighton station take about 8 minutes.
- Brighton station — Better for combining with the seafront and Lanes beforehand, then a short train out to Falmer.
- Driving — The A27 to A270 route is well signed, but the Falmer park-and-ride is the sensible option given very limited ground parking.
Safe away spots
- The Swan, Falmer — Village pub right by the station, a traditional away-fan stop before the short walk to the ground. Map
- Lewes Road cafés — A run of independent cafés and takeaways if travelling in from the city centre side. Map
- Brighton Lanes — For a longer pre-match, the seafood and pub scene in the Lanes is 15 minutes from the main station. Map
Worth the detour
Royal Pavilion
Extraordinary Regency palace in the city centre, a must if you have time before or after.

Lower-profile pubs, cafés and corners the locals keep to themselves.

A large park adjoining Falmer station with woodland walks that almost no away fans explore.
Open in mapsStanmer House café
Georgian mansion café in the park, a peaceful spot before the walk to the ground.
Open in mapsSnoopers Paradise, Brighton
Sprawling vintage market in Kensington Gardens, a proper local's spot away from the seafront crowds.

Transport alert
Standard Saturday
Nothing unusual in the Brighton diary for this date. Book advance rail tickets 12 weeks out and check the operator's works page the Monday before.
Ground note
Falmer station gets extremely congested immediately after full time; expect a managed queuing system for 20-30 minutes.
Ground note
The stadium is exposed on the Downs and can be considerably colder and windier than central Brighton.
