Norfolk & Norwich Festival — May festival brings road closures around the city centre.
Boxing Day — No trains into Norwich on 26 December — coach or car only.

Norwich station — Five minutes across the river to the away end — one of the easiest arrivals in the league.
Trains from Liverpool Street — Just under two hours direct.
Parking — The riverside and Rose Lane car parks are close; the A47 southern bypass is the quickest way out.

Norman cathedral with a huge cloister; free and five minutes from the market.

Elm Hill

The best-preserved medieval street in England.

Norwich Castle

Reopened keep with a good museum, on the hill above the centre.

Lower-profile pubs, cafés and corners the locals keep to themselves.

August away ends sell out early and summer engineering works are common. Book travel as soon as tickets drop — everyone is keen in week one.
