Getting there

  • Ninian Park station — Matchday halt five minutes from the away end, on the City Line from Cardiff Central.
  • Walk from Cardiff Central — 30 minutes along the Taff or via Canton — the Taff Embankment route is the traditional away march.
  • Driving — Leave the M4 at J33 for the A4232; the stadium park-and-ride sites are well run but slow to empty.

Safe away spots

  • Canton pubs — Lansdowne Road and Cowbridge Road East have the liveliest pre-match strip, 15 minutes' walk away. Map
  • City centre — St Mary Street and the Brewery Quarter are neutral, busy and full of options before the walk out. Map
  • Victoria Park chip shops — Classic pre-match chippy run near the ground; queues but quick. Map
