Getting there

  • Arsenal tube — Piccadilly line station renamed for the club; closes for outbound-only running after the match to manage crowds.
  • Drayton Park — Overground/Great Northern station right behind the away end, but shut on matchdays for southbound trains — useful for arriving, not leaving.
  • Holloway Road — A busier alternative tube ten minutes' walk away when Arsenal station queues are long.

  • The Drayton Arms — Corner pub on Holloway Road that takes a steady away following and shows other Saturday scores. Map
  • Blackstock Road — Turkish grills and bakeries a few minutes from the ground, cheaper and calmer than the concourse. Map
  • Highbury Barn cafés — Ten minutes north, a quieter spot for coffee before the walk down. Map

Sunday engineering works

Sunday fixtures are the most likely to hit rail replacement buses into London. Check the route the week before and allow an extra hour.
